The Domino Insurance Agency Team
Owner and President of Domino Insurance Agency, Inc. and Domino Insurance Financial Services. Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Gannon University. He has attended and completed the School of Commercial Insurance at I.N.A. Scool in Philadelphia, PA, The Mutual Insurance Agents Program in Oberlin College, the Commercial School for Travelers Insurance CO. in Harford, CT. , and has attended and completed the C.N.A Insurance Company Pacer Pane and Agency Council for C.G.U. Jim is also the two time recipient of the Ohio Casualty Presidents Award. Prior to forming the agency, Jim held several management positions with local Erie brokers and agencies. These accomplishments along with his dedication only compliment his friendly, committed service to his clients.

Alex joined the Domino Insurance Agency team, full-time, in December 2011. Alex recently graduated from St. Bonaventure University earning his Bachelors Degree in Marketing. Alex has been working for the agency part-time under the guidence of his father, Jim Domino, since the age of 16. His focus is on maintaining up- to-date knowledge of the insurance industry as well as the complex nature of the our clients insurance needs. Alex continues to assist in the marketing side of the agency and handling computer technical issues.

Rick joined the Domino Insurance Agency team in 2002, coming from Welch’s, the world’s largest manufacturer of Concord grape products. Rick held the position of Corporate Risk Manager with 27 years extensive experience in the areas of Property/Casualty Insurance and Employee Benefits and nine years on the agency side of the business. Rick graduated from Bryant & Stratton College, in Buffalo NY, majoring in Marketing. He holds a Professional Designation-Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Insurance Institute of America and has completed the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) course titled Life, Health, and Other Group Benefit Programs from Wharton School, University of PA and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Rick specializes on the placement of insurance coverages and the risk management and loss control issues for our larger commercial accounts . Rick is eager to offer his Corporate Risk and Insurance experience to the clients of Domino Insurance Agency, Inc.

Claire Domino, Commercial Lines CSR
Claire has over 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to becoming a dedicated member of the Domino Insurance Agency team, she worked for various companies and agencies where she became highly experienced in managing personal and commercial lines insurance. As a licensed agent and customer service representative she primarily handles some of our more complex commercial business clients.

Patrick G. Wachter, CPIA, Commercial Lines Producer/CSR
Born and raised in Erie, PA, Patrick attended Penn State Behrend where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After graduation he began his career selling Life and Health Insurance as well as Annuity products in Western PA. Patrick received the "Top Rookie Sales Agent" award in his branch and top ten in the North East region. Following his work in Erie, Patrick moved to Pittsburgh, PA where he accepted a position selling Property and Casualty insurance for one of the top niche brokerage firms in the country. During his time in Pittsburgh he took on the roles as an agent and wholesaler within the agencies broad department range. He contributed to many popular insurance magazines and websites such as Rough Notes, Insurance Marketplace, and Target Markets where he discussed insurance in the construction industry and niche insurance in general. In 2010 he earned his CPIA designation. In October of 2011 he accepted a position at Domino Insurance Agency Inc. as an account executive, bringing him back to his hometown. Patrick is licensed to sell all lines of Property and Casualty insurance as well as Life and Health insurance products in PA and the surrounding states

Laura Schermer, Personal and Commercial Lines CSR & Claims Rep.
Laura joined the Domino Insurance Agency team in October 2011. She is licensed in Pennsylvania in Property and Casualty Insurance. Coming to our agency with 10 years of experience in Personal Lines Auto and Home Owners Insurance, as well as Individual Life, Health & Accident Insurance. Laura also has experience handling commercial and personal lines claims.

Chris Burchard, Health & Life Insurance Account Executive
Chris joined the Domino Insurance Agency team in June 2011. He is a graduate of Marietta College with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. As a Life and Health Insurance Account Executive his main focus is Group Life and Health Insurance, Medicare Supplements and Plans and Cancer Supplement Plans. With his twenty years of experience in accounting and managing employee benefits he is a considerable asset to the agency and will futher support our clients insurance needs.

James Barr, Controller
Jim joined the Domino Insurance Agency team in May of 2011. He earned his Bachelors Degree in accounting from Gannon University in Erie, PA. Prior to joining our agency Jim was the financial manager for a local non-profit human services agency as well as accountant for a local CPA firm. As the Controller of the agency his work includes preparation of financial statements and oversight of the accounting operations for the agency.

Jenn Johnson, Marketing
Jenn joined the Domino Insurance Agency team in 2008. Jenn comes to us with an Associates of Business Degree in Marketing and Management, and with extensive experience in the retail sales and telemarketing industries. She holds the position as Marketing Administrator, as well as handling miscellaneous duties throughout the office .
